# How it Works

> From thesis to portfolio in one click.

## Sign in

Head to [app.cesto.co](https://app.cesto.co). You can get started two ways:

* **Sign in with Google.** Cesto creates a secure wallet for you automatically. No seed phrase, no extension to install. It's a non-custodial wallet you control, and you can export it anytime.
* **Connect an existing wallet.** Already have a Solana wallet? Connect it and use it directly.

Either way, your wallet is your account. More on how custody works in [Security](/cesto/security).

## Add funds

Baskets are funded in USDC. Top up your account (or make sure your connected wallet holds USDC) so you're ready to invest. See [Funding](/cesto/funding) for deposit and withdrawal details.

## Browse baskets

Each basket is a curated portfolio built around a specific theme or narrative. Browse what's available, read the thesis, check what's inside, and see historical performance.

Every basket shows you:

* The narrative it's built around
* The assets it holds and their weights
* Backtested annual returns based on historical data

<Note>
  Performance figures shown on baskets reflect backtested historical data from the past year. They represent how the basket's strategy would have performed, not guaranteed future returns.
</Note>

## Invest

Found a basket that matches your conviction? Hit invest. Cesto handles the rest and executes the whole allocation for you in one click. You don't need to buy each asset individually.

Once it's done, the underlying assets are held in your wallet at the basket's target weights. Not a receipt. Not a token representing a basket. The actual assets.

## Stay aligned

Markets move. Allocations drift. Baskets are regularly updated to reflect the latest strategy, and Cesto gives you the tools to keep your positions in line. Head over to [Rebalancing](/cesto/rebalancing) to learn how.
